Use this page to search for land and building assets. For instructions on how to begin a search, click on the "?" button located next to the word "Instructions" below.
Instructions
- To begin: select a data field to search, select an appropriate comparator, and specify a data filter value below. If no field is selected or no value is specified, then the filter will be ignored and the search results will include all of the assets in the database.
- Comparators: '=' the search result must match the data filter value precisely; 'like' is a partial text search in which part of the search result must match the data filter value; 'not like' is a partial text search in which no part of the search result must match the data filter value; '>' the search result must be greater than the data filter value; '<' the search result must be less than the data filter value; '<>' the search result must not equal the data filter value.
- To search certain data fields, a data filter value must be selected from a limited choice of fixed values provided in a dropdown list by clicking on the 'Value' textbox. Comparators available for such searches are limited to either '=' or '<>'.
- To apply additional data filters to a search, click the 'Add filter' button.
- Select 'Any' in the data filter value dropdown list (or leave the 'Value' textbox blank) in order to add the selected data field to the search results without applying a new filter.
- To sort search results into ascending or descending order using the selected ata field as the sort key, select 'ASC' for ascending or alphabetical (A-Z) order or 'DESC' for descending or reverse alphabetical (Z-A) order.
- When two or more data filters are in use, an additional dropdown list will appear at the end of each filter line (except for the last one). This dropdown list allows for the use of logical operators 'AND', 'OR', or '(OR)' to combine multiple filters. Use the '(OR)' operator to combine filters with an OR operator as though they are enclosed in parenthesis (i.e. to ensure that the filters are resolved together before other operators).
- To clear all filters and start over, click the 'Reset' button.
- To remove a single filter, click the '-' button.
- To initiate a search, click the 'Search' button.
